To be an effective forum for member Economies to work cooperatively in developing and implementing measures to strengthen the safety of Land Transportation, including Road Safety Improvement and Vehicle Safety Standards Harmonization. To focus on the measure to promote an efficient, safe, secure, integrated, competitive and environmentally sustainable land transportation system in the APEC region, as directed by Leaders and Ministers.
