2.Report on the Telecommunications Working Group, TEL, meeting; and PowerPoint presentation by John Daly (industry representative from Hong Kong, China) entitled ¡§E-Commerce in the Intermodal Transportation Environment¡¨.

3.Progress report by Australia on the APEC Paperless Trading Initiative:

• Darwin Trade Minister 's meeting.
• Second Electronic Commerce Steering Group (ECSG) meeting - progress on the ECSG paperless trading matrix.
• High level Symposium on paperless trading to be hosted by China in February 2001.

4.Report on the Sub-Committee on Customs Procedures, SCCP, meeting by Chris Wall, Australian delegate to the SCCP.

5.Discussion on current projects:

• Final report on Phase 1 Equant project and consideration of follow-on action.
• Progress report (including a PowerPoint presentation) on the Pilot Electronic Commerce Training in Maritime Transport project.
• Progress report on the Electronic Port Manifest Project.
• Progress report on the APEC Paperless Trading demonstration project - Electronic Transmission of the SANCRT message.
