The aim of the group is to advance gender
perspectives in APEC by developing a well defined approach for the identification of
training and development initiatives for women in the transportation sector. Such an
approach would serve to complement, rather than duplicate gender related work of other
APEC and international fora. It will ensure that TPT-WG directed initiatives
contribute effectively towards the goal of full participation of women in APEC's economic
and technical co-operation activities. The Group is chaired by Ms Jennifer Little of
